Arcadia University +
Distinguished Scholarship. Ranges from $4,000 per year to $18,000 per year. Based on academic achievement, standardized test scores (SAT or ACT) plus other factors such as extra-curricular activities, leadership, community involvement, and other examples of excellence outside of the classroom.
Achievement Award. Students who do not qualify for an academic scholarship can earn from $1,000 to $5,000 per year for extra-curricular activities, leadership, community involvement, and other examples of excellence outside of the classroom.
Graduate students can earn academic scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $11,000 per year plus work study on campus.
Highline Community College +
AA Transfer and Professional/Technical Scholarships
Current Highline students who are majoring in a university transfer program (AA or AS), or who are studying for a professional/technical degree or certificate are eligible to apply for a $1000 competitive scholarship. The scholarship is renewable for up to three quarters. Students must have completed one quarter at Highline and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Academic Scholarships
International students who excel at Highline can apply for our Academic Scholarship, which reduces tuition cost to the in-state level for up to three quarters. We award two of these special scholarships annually to students who have a GPA of 3.5 or higher. To be eligible, students must have completed one year of study at Highline.

Graduate scholarships and assistantships are awarded in most academic departments. Awards are based on academic excellence and English language ability. The amount of the award varies by student and department. Applicants for admission will be considered for scholarships as long as they check the appropriate box on the application for admission.

University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point +
UWSP offers partial tuition waivers/scholarships to qualified international students. Awards are based on three major criteria: academic performance during the semester (grade point average), contributions to cultural diversity, and parents/sponsors annual income plus on-campus employment. Normally students are invited to apply during their first semester on campus.
First time applicants seeking undergraduate admission may apply for the tuition waiver/scholarship if they have outstanding academic records and strong involvement in extra curricular activities. Their application form must be accompanied by a personal statement and letters from 2 teachers who are familiar with the applicant’s academic performance and extra curricular involvements.
Awards range from $2000-$10,000 per academic year. The average award is $5000 per academic year. Some 60% of our international undergraduates receive these annually renewable awards.
Webber International University +
Kelly A Wilson Memorial Scholarship New- $1,000 scholarship available to a student in need who has overcome challenges in their life. Two scholarships available. An essay is required. Renewable with a cumulative 2.50 GPA.
Entrance Exam Award New-$1,000 to full time student who enters with a SAT/ACT score of at least 1090/23. Renewable with a cumulative 3.00 GPA.
Dean's Award - $2,000 a year to new incoming students who will not be receiving athletic scholarship.. Cumulative GPA 3.0 and SAT of 970 or ACT of 20 or TOEFL of 530 (200 computer based). Letter of recommendation required from school official which details community service. Renewable with cumulative 2.75 GPA.
Academic Scholarship - Awarded each semester, based on cumulative GPA, 12 hours at WIU. Awarded to high school graduates and college transfers who have the stipulated cumulative GPA and are regularly accepted. Renewable each semester. $550 for 3.25 to 3.49 GPA; $950 for 3.50 to 3.74 GPA; $1,800 for 3.75 to 4.0 GPA.
Business Scholarship - Regularly accepted full time students who are not on athletic scholarship may apply for up to $4,000 per year. Personal resume, 3 letters of recommendation, and personal essay required. Contact admissions for additional details.
Athletic Scholarship - Awarded at the discretion of the Athletic Department for Varsity Athletes. Contact the Athletic Director or coach for consideration
Early Commitment Incentive - Fully accepted students who will be residing on -campus will receive a room and board reduction for the year if they have paid $350 deposit and completed all necessary paperwork: By May 1 - $750; By June 6 - $500 (Renewable with continued residence and full meal plan).
Fully accepted students who will be residing off-campus will receive a tuition reduction for the year if they have paid a $150 deposit and completed all necessary paperwork: By May 1: $375 By June 6 $250 (Non-renewable).
Student Leadership Award - Scholarships available to students who have actively participated in student government, peer counseling, prefects, civic organizations, or club activities. Letter of recommendation required from sponsor. Renewable.
Souhail Sabbagh Scholarship - Available to full time, non-Florida freshmen based on community and high-school service. Contact the Admissions Office for Application.
Samir Sabbagh Scholarship - Available to new incoming students residing on campus, based on service and activity. Contact the Admissions Office for Application.
Wheeling Jesuit University +
For the 2006/2007 school year international students will be considered for an academic scholarship that ranges from $7,500 to $12,000 per year. The scholarship amount is based off of a combination of their cumulative high school grade point average and the student's test scores (if available). A minimum 3.0 grade point average is required to be considered for an award. The scholarship is renewable for four years as long as a student maintains a certain grade point average.
